A Fans Notes Eyes TV Series Adaptation
Producer Gary Jewel is putting together a TV series project based on Ernest Exley, Junior.’s semi-autobiographical novel A Follower’s Notes. The 1968 book handles alcoholism, shock therapy and sports fandom and tales a man’s existence were living in abject failure while seeking fame and driving themselves and many types of people around him lower a path of destruction. “It’s a fantastically written parable, a diary, for that time about self-destruction looking for personal celebrity and ultimate fame, the kind that lasts beyond one’s lifetime,” mentioned Jewel, who's creating with Jeffrey Shane and David Burton Morris. It needed Jewel a long time to locate and secure the rights for the book after which it remained trying to really make it in to a feature film before identifying the series adaptation works more effectively, something Exley’s twin sister Francis Brown made the decision to. (A Follower’s Notes was formerly converted to a feature in 1972 with Jerry Orbach playing Exley.) Conferences with authors 're going ahead for your drama project, that's being specific for fundamental and premium cable.
